Breast Cancer Research Foundation

BCRF is an independent, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and genetic research at leading medical centers worldwide and increasing public awareness about good breast health.  In October 2005, BCRF awarded over $22 million in new grants to more than 100 researchers across the United States and in Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Israel.

A minimum of 85% of all funds raised goes to breast cancer research grants and awareness programs.  The American Institute of Philanthropy has awarded BCRF an "A" rating in its Charity Rating Guide since 2002 and BCRF is recognized as one of the "Top Rated" cancer organizations and the only breast cancer organization to appear on its "Top Rated Charities" list.
